Terms & Conditions
The following applies to all 3D Casts bookings without exception. By booking, you agree to:
- We will do our very best to ensure a good quality cast, however TPL will not take any responsibility for any discomfort during this process.
- The Pottery Loft uses dental grade ‘alginate’ to create your beautiful casts. Occasionally, due to the nature of the products used and the casting, pouring and drying process, imperfections/air bubbles can occur. Although uncommon, this is completely outside of our control. In the unlikely event this does occur, we will contact you as soon as possible and ask you to return to the studio to re-take the casts.
- Naturally occurring hairline cracks can appear on casts during the pouring process - although we will do our best to fill any cracks/imperfections, as the integrity of the piece is still intact, this should not be considered a fault but a naturally occurring part of the piece.
- All 3D casts will be complete at the end of the 2nd month from your visit. For example, any prints taken in January will be ready for collection by the end of March, as we complete these in monthly batches. We find this to be the best way to allow all pieces to thoroughly dry out before we start working on them. If we were to rush into completing prints before they were completely dry, the prints could be affected by mould/weakness in the future and as such, we cannot guarantee any prints will be ready before this. If this is an issue, please speak to a member of staff who will be happy to speak and advise on this. The Pottery Loft will contact you via the contact number left on your form once your prints are ready for collection. Please ensure this number is legible.
- Occasionally, customers may not have decided on their full requirements before/during their visit. This is fine, however your prints may fall into the next months batch if we do not have full order confirmation before we place our orders for frames etc. Please forward any missing information over to: potteryloftbespoke@gmail.com
- If you would like us to undertake any writing on your chosen slate/mount, the following points will apply: Please ensure all spellings are correct before you hand in your completed form - once the writing has been added to your prints, this cannot be changed. We always try to go forward with changes if given before this, however cannot guarantee any changes will be made. The Pottery Loft will not be held responsible for any customer spelling/grammar mistakes. Please specify exactly where you would like us to write the information and what colour you would prefer this to be in - if this information is not given, we will choose appropriately for you. Please ensure all writing is clearly legible on your form. The Pottery Loft will not be held responsible for deciphering unclear wording incorrectly. All commissioned writing is applied to the prints ‘free-hand’ by a trained member of staff. You agree that The Pottery Loft cannot guarantee that any splotches/blobs caused by our writer pens will not occur. The Pottery Loft will only accept liability for spelling errors if your clear, specified wording is not painted exaclty how it appears on your form.
- A £10 booking deposit secures your 1-2-1 appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation. Deposit(s) paid will be deducted from your total on the day of your visit.
